Preinstallatin Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI) must be present on your computer. MSI is included with Microsoft Windows 2000. If you do not have MSI on your computer, the Autodesk MapGuide Server installation program will install it for you. You will then need to restart your computer and manually restart the Autodesk MapGuide Server installation.
  • If you have Autodesk MapGuide for VISION® Server installed, you must uninstall it before installing Autodesk MapGuide Server Release 6.5.

Preinstallation Requirements

  • If you will be using Microsoft Internet Explorer, you must install it before installing Autodesk MapGuide Viewer.
  • If you are installing Autodesk MapGuide Viewer Java Edition, be sure to uninstall any previous versions first.
